The Berlin Wall may have fallen in 1989, but pieces of it still stand throughout the city—sometimes in the most unexpected places.
During my time in Berlin, I started noticing fragments of the Wall everywhere: tucked behind museums, standing along busy streets, or preserved as powerful memorials. Each piece tells a slightly different story, and together they offer a deeper look at the city’s past.
