On our National Parks journey, we made two memorable detours on our way from the Grand Canyon to Mesa Verde: Monument Valley and the Four Corners Monument, both in the Navajo Nation.

These deep red pinnacles are surrounded by wide open spaces containing mesas, clusters of shrubs and trees, and windswept sands. A stunning site every nature lover should experience.
